The Mosler Europe Car, Settles For Second Place
Britcar 24 hour race took place this weekend at the ever popular Silverstone race circuit. Supporting the Rollcentre Racing “The Mosler Europe car, Bioener G Ltd was present, experiencing a nail biting time. Stuart Hall set the pace in the jolly green Molser and delivered an unbeatable fastest lap time of 1.55.015. His impeccable performance was insurmountable. Followed by driver Andy Neate, not a rookie by any imagination, kept tight behind Stuarts timings and held the second place, Martin Short, then followed as the third driver with an excellent performance and skill. Unfortunately during the night, the car developed a fault and had to enter the pits for a replacement alternator. If that wasn’t enough, the remaining 3 hours of the 24 hour race the RollCentre Mosler Europe car continued with only one gear, 5th, after experiencing a slight shunt. Maintaining their position in second place, the more fuel efficient Duller Motorsport won this years event. Refuelling intervals obviously play an important role in endurance racing. Although Top Gear were present in the race, demonstrating their driving skills in a diesel powered BMW, they finished 3rd in the class of 5, Clarkson and the Top Gear Team may stand a better chance next year, if they dare, Stig has to be included though.

Well done to all the teams that took part, the weekend was certainly entertaining as well as gruelling.
